Ostrich 248 Breeder is nutritionally balanced for nutrients such as protein, energy, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins and trace minerals which are essential for increased fertility and hatchability.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS
Feed Ostrich 248 Breeder pellets ad lib six weeks prior to lay and continue to feed during the entire laying period.
To reduce the risk of gut impaction it may be necessary to provide additional roughage in the form of pasture, chaff or ground hay.
Hard grit (insoluble stone chips) should also be available to aid in the mastication of feed in the gizzard.
Ensure that clean fresh water is available at all times.

Ostrich 248 Breeder is formulated from a selection of the following ingredients:
Wheat, triticale, barley, oats, peas, lupins, beans, soyabean, canola, sunflower and by-products derived from these ingredients. Lucerne, fat, lysine, methionine, threonine, tryptophan, antioxidant, dicalcium phosphate, limestone and salt.
Vitamins: A, D3, E, K, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), pyridoxine (B6), B12, niacin, pantothenic acid, folic acid, biotin, choline.
Minerals: Calcium, phosphorus, sodium, chloride, cobalt, copper, iron, iodine, manganese, molybdenum, selenium and zinc.
