Ostrich 245 Starter is a high quality starter food formulated to be fed to day old ostrich chicks up to approximately 8 weeks of age.
Ostrich 245 Starter is nutritionally balanced for nutrients such as protein, energy, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins and trace minerals which are essential for strong early development of ostrich chicks. Lucerne has been incorporated into the diet in order to promote the developing ostriches ability to breakdown fibre and to increase the bulk density of the diet.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS
Feed Ostrich 245 Starter pellets ad lib upto 8 weeks of age then change to Ostrich 246 Grower.
Ensure that clean fresh water is available at all times.

INGREDIENTS
Ostrich 245 Starter is formulated from a selection of the following ingredients:
Wheat, triticale, barley, oats, peas, lupins, beans, soyabean, canola, sunflower and by-products derived from these ingredients. Lucerne, fat, lysine, methionine, threonine, tryptophan, antioxidant, enzymes, dicalcium phosphate, limestone and salt.
Vitamins: A, D3, E, K, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), pyridoxine (B6), B12, niacin, pantothenic acid, folic acid, biotin and choline.
Minerals: Calcium, phosphorus, sodium, chloride, cobalt, copper, iron, iodine, manganese, molybdenum, selenium and zinc.
