| FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS
Calf Starter pellets should be introduced from the first week of age and fed ad lib alongwith milk and clean fresh hay. Hay must be available at all times, but may need to be restricted to ensure adequate consumption of Calf Starter pellets.
Milk can be withdrawn at about 5 weeks of age if the calves have reached their target weight and are consuming about 1kg/day. To maximise consumption and to avoid digestive problems ensure that Calf Starter pellets are fed fresh daily.
At 12 weeks of age Calf Starter can be replaced with Heifer 909 or Feedlot Pellets.
This feed has been manufactured specifically for animals as described, do not feed to any other species of animal. Do not feed to horses or other equines as Bovatec can be fatal.
