| FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS
Leed Feed pellets are designed to be fed to cows and heifers approximately 21 days before calving. A standard addition rate of 2.0 kg per cow per day should be fed along with an appropriate coarse roughage source, such as hay, chaff or pasture. If other raw products are being incorporated into the diet, a least-cost formulation should be calculated to provide maximum productivity.
Do not make sudden changes to feeding rates as digestive problems may occur. If digestive problems occur, substantially reduce or cease the amount of Leed Feed and grain mix being fed and increase the roughage portion until normal digestive activity returns.
Ensure that fresh water is available at all times.
